The above named security bars come highly recommended by the London Metropolitan Police. They attach to the inside of the door over the lock & frame running from the top of the frame to the bottom, giving the existing frame the reinforcement it may well need in the event of any attempted forced entry.

Door Hinge Bolts

Hinge bolts are a very effective way of strengthening the hinge side of the door where only hinges stand in the way of attempted forced entry Eg: By cutting through the hinges or kicking or shouldering hinge side of door forcing the hinges off the door allowing the door to then be easily opened on the hinge side of the door.
